Q: What is
SALT FLAME Genuine Himalayan Crystal Salt?
In today's modern society salt has been given a bad rap. It
is considered unhealthy and unnecessary. As industrialization came to a full swing, much of what we eat has been genetically
altered. |
|
Today's common salt is chemically refined; all of the natural
minerals are removed as they are considered to be impurities and reduced only to sodium and chloride. This process made the
salt unhealthy; it is not a natural element and is poison to the body. Eating common table salt results in the formation of
edema, or excess fluid in the body tissue, which is also the cause of cellulite. That's why doctors say to avoid salt. For
every gram of sodium chloride that the body cannot get rid of, the body uses twenty-three times the amount of cell water to
neutralize this salt. That makes our body weak and prone to diseases.
SALT FLAME Himalayan Salt is however pre-pollution and without
environmental impact. It is absolutely pristine, purest, totally natural, unrefined, cleanest and most complete Salt available.
It is identical in minerals to the ancient primal ocean with all the minerals and trace elements our body needs. These natural
minerals are identical to the minerals, which our bodies have evolved with and are also originally found existing in the primal
ocean. |
Life came from the sea, its nutrients and the suns energy. Millions
of years ago when the formation of the Himalayas begun, the primal ocean was naturally dried up with the energy of the sun,
as the mighty Himalayas were rising, over time with intense pressure and temperatures salt became crystallized. The higher
the amount of pressure the more superior the crystalline structure. Alexander the great discovered it and since then it has
been a part of regular diet for natives.
SALT FLAME Himalayan Salt is the finest; hand picked and stone
grinded crystal salt, which is transparent with pink and reddish veins. Only Genuine Himalayan Crystal Salt should be used
for favoring food, Brine solution and for bathing. |

Q: How Does
SALT FLAME Himalayan Salt compare to Sea Salt?
Oceans cover 70% of our earth. However, the oceans are being
degraded with nuclear waste, industrial waste and farm chemical run-off. Not a single year passes without major news of at
least one fractured oil tanker causing catastrophe. Recent government warnings about the increased levels of mercury in our
oceans limit us to eat fish only once or twice a month. Today, sea salt does not have the same positive impact on our health,
as it used to. Most of the sea salt undergoes man-made refining to get it to the packaged commodity stage.
Q: Where
does it come from?
Genuine SALT FLAME Himalayan Salt is extracted by hand from
the deepest and farthest levels of the mines, located in the biggest salt range of the world.
Q: Where
is the Himalayan salt range located?
The salt range is located at the foothills, between the valleys
of the Indus and Jhelum
rivers, in the northern part of the Punjab region of Pakistan.
It derives its name from extensive deposits of Crystal salt, which are one of
the richest salt fields in the world; they are of Precambrian age. The salt range is more than 1,600 feet (490 m) in thickness
and spread approximately 186 miles (300 km) beneath the Karakoram Range and the Great Himalayas of
Pakistan. Home to the world's greatest masses of high mountains, nine of the world's fourteen 8,000-meter peaks are located
here including K2.
Q: How is
the SALT FLAME Himalayan Crystal Salt Mined?
All mining is done by hand. Use of dynamite is strictly prohibited
to preserve the structure of the crystals. Mining by hand is slow and expensive |
|
Q: Is Himalayan
Salt mined in areas outside of Pakistan?
No. The only source of Genuine Himalayan Crystal Salt is in
Pakistan, which is well known to locals. |
Q: Is there
an official Himalayan seal for Himalayan Salt?
No. Himalayas is a range, just like the
Rockies and Andes. It runs through Pakistan,
India, Nepal,
Burma and Tibet.
Q: Does any
company or group have the monopoly on Himalayan Crystal Salt?
No. Salt is plentiful and available for all, there are no secret
or hidden mines as some companies are claiming.
Q: How
one can be sure to pick the right Himalayan salt?
We recommend that when shopping for Himalayan Crystal Salt;
choose a packaging where you can actually see the transparent and pinkish crystals. We also recommend that you should buy
coarse ground to be used in a salt mill to grind fresh salt on your food.
Q: Is there
any analysis done for SALT FLAME Himalayan Crystal Salt?
SALT FLAME Himalayan Crystal Salt has been analysed by SGS Laboratories,
Karachi, Pakistan. A chemical analysis
report can be obtained by request. Please send your request to: info@saltflame.com
Q: What is the
difference between refined table salt and Himalayan Crystal Salt?
Table salt (including most sea salt & rock salt) is derived
from natural salt that has been refined and stripped of many naturally occurring minerals. Salt producers then sell these
valuable minerals to major health supplement manufacturers . What's left is a crude toxic substance called Sodium Chloride.
Bleach is usually added for good measure, plus anti-caking agents to make it run freely. Ask yourself this question - if your
body could talk, would it thank you or curse you for feeding it this rubbish?
Traditionally, the public have consumed this unhealthy product
without question - however denatured salt bears little resemblance to the complex combination of life giving minerals that
are part of the natural, holistic crystal salt from the Himalayan Mountains (see image of Himalayan Crystal Salt granules
above). Unfortunately, many consumers continue to buy refined table salt in the mistaken belief that all salt is the same.
This out of date assumption is due in part to a lack of knowledge displayed by many health care professionals and GP's.
Q: Can refined
salt be detrimental to our health?
In a word – yes!
Q: What are
the natural elements contained in Himalayan Crystal Salt?
Typically they are; Hydrogen, Lithium, Beryllium, Boron, Carbon,
Nitrogen, Oxygen, Fluoride, Sodium, Magnesium, Aluminium, Silicon, Phosphorus, Sulphur, Chloride, Potassium, Calcium, Scandium,
Titanium, Vanadium, Chromium, Manganese, Iron, Cobalt, Nickel, Copper, Zinc, Gallium, Germanium, Arsenic, Selenium, Bromine,
Rubidium, Strontium, Ytterbium, Zirconium, Niobium, Molybdenum, Technetium, Ruthenium, Rhodium, Palladium, Silver, Cadmium,
Indium, Tin, Antimony, Tellurium, Iodine, Cesium, Barium, Lanthan, Cerium, Praseodymium, Neodymium, Promethium, Samarium,
Europium, Gadolinium, Terbium, Dysprosium, Holmium, Erbium, Thulium, Lutetium, Hafnium, Tantalum, Wolfram, Tungsten, Rhenium,
Osmium, Iridium, Platinum, Gold, Mercury, Thallium, Lead, Bismuth, Polonium, Astat, Francium, Radium, Actinium, Thorium, Protactinium,
Uranium, Neptunium and Plutonium, plus additional combined elements of Water, Nitrate, Phosphate and Hydrogen Carbonate. The
elements listed above are considered to be either essential or useful for maintaining optimum health and wellness. They have
been in the human body throughout the evolution of mankind. The total concentration of these minerals in our blood plasma
is approximately one per-cent, and about four per-cent in sea water.
Q: You describe
Himalayan Crystal Salt as ‘Beyond Organic’ - what do you mean by that?
Organically grown food is increasing in popularity, and is generally
of a very high standard. However, in the context of judging the true value of any food bearing the label ‘Certified
Organic’ (a qualitative standard that varies from country to country), it is first necessary to define a benchmark of
excellence to compare against. In our opinion, this benchmark should be defined as follows:
‘Any whole food fit for human consumption that does not
contain any measurable amounts of chemical, toxic or unnatural substances that may be harmful to health’…
Although not all ‘Certified Organic’ food products
we find in the grocery stores meet the standard described above, many do, particularly those foods that have grown in a wild
and unspoiled environment - including certain varieties of highly nutritious sea vegetables. They are found in remote, pristine
areas of the planet where the water is virtually free from pollution. However, Himalayan Crystal Salt is almost unique. It
was formed long before humans walked the planet, and has never been exposed to man-made contamination. Himalayan Crystal Salt
can rightfully be described as ‘beyond organic’ when comparing its quality with many organically grown and certified
foods. We recently noticed this comment made by an Organic Trade Association in America
which makes our point perfectly…
“Certified organic products have been grown and handled
according to strict standards without toxic and persistent chemical inputs. However, organic crops are inadvertently exposed
to agricultural chemicals that are now pervasive in rain and ground water due to their over-use during the past fifty years
in North America, and due to drift via wind and rain”.
Q: Why is
the Medical profession warning against consuming too much salt?
The average western diet contains up to twenty times more salt
than we actually need. The body has to use significant amounts of energy and resources in trying to metabolize and finally
rid itself of unnatural or useless substances – particularly refined salt. This may cause the organs in the body a great
deal of stress. The long term effects of contaminants that are not made use of, but remain trapped in the body can lead to
many modern day ailments. In contrast, Himalayan Crystal Salt (as part of a balanced diet) is a complete, natural food that
the body can easily assimilate. This pure salt, formed by the intense energy of the sun is a part of the very life blood that
runs through our veins. By replacing all refined salt with natural salt would in our view lead to a dramatic improvement in
the long term health of the Nation, and reduce the heavy burden on our National Health Service. |
